What we do


24 one day workshops for young people equipping them with essential workplace skills through the world of tabletop gaming (Gamemploy). 


Why its important


Gamemploy will promote teamwork, creativity, problem-solving, communication and social skills through hands-on non-digital game design for young people (16-25).


The benefits


With Gamemploy, young people will be supported to reach their potential as they participate in new hands-on activities, enhancing key skills whilst preparing themselves for work and volunteering opportunities in the future.

Gaming society secures grant to expand and help ‘upskill’ young unemployed adults


A Caerphilly-based gaming club has been given a £20,000 grant – part of which will go towards helping upskill unemployed young adults.

Caerphilly Table-Top Gamers Society (CTG), has welcomed hundreds of children and adults to its gaming hubs across Caerphilly County Borough over the years.

Bargoed gaming group aims to help children with their maths and communication skills


A new gaming group is starting up in Bargoed library to help children improve their maths and communication skills.

Caerphilly Table-Top and Gamers Society is bringing their science, technology, engineering and mathematical (STEM) based gaming sessions to Bargoed library for most of 2023 thanks to funding from Bargoed Town Council.

The gaming club helping to make maths fun


On the last Saturday in January, Bargoed Library was transformed. It looked like it had been hired out for a big children’s party with every table in the large open space occupied by children of all ages.
